  What is the NCSE?
  The North Carolina Society of Engineers, founded in 1918, is a nonprofit non-partisan, non-sectarian organization which helps promote the social, economic, and technical interests of the engineering profession throughout the State of North Carolina. By fostering better standards of engineering ethics and disseminating engineering knowledge among its members, it helps secure efficient service for the public and protects the public from incompetence in all lines of engineering work.

Karen Cottrell, Engineer at CenturyLink, has been installed as the NCSE President for 2010.  See Photo.  All 2010 Officers and Board Members are detailed under Society Info above. 
Past NCSE President Lynn Eury has been awarded the 2009 Menscer Cup by the NC STATE Foundation in recognition of his service, leadership, and dedication to NC STATE University.
Richard A. Reed, President of Triumph Actuation Systems, LLC, Clemmons, NC, received the Outstanding Engineer Award at the annual NCSE Banquet on February 20, 2010.  DETAILS.  Presenting the award is Marcus Crotts.  See Photo.
